Dear HANK Services for Seniors,

We really appreciate the snow shoveling service that HANK provided today, 12-27-25. The two boys who you assigned were polite, helpful, industrious and fully efficient. We have renewed faith in the next generation!

This is a much needed service that is of great value. The organization is a wonderful example of community and civic responsibility. The young people learn to help others and the help is needed. Thanks so much for making this all happen.

On snow shoveling: Our sidewalk and driveway were shoveled today by a teenage HANK participant, C.H. He worked meticulously and determinedly to remove the snow and hidden ice to make our property safe for our family and passing pedestrians. He was polite, pleasant and a breath of fresh air on this cold winter day. HANK is fortunate to have him on board! SSJ

On a garage clean out: The Hank Services team was fabulous! They analyzed the space, scheduled a day, and got to work. The team came ready to go and were super helpful. We will definitely be doing more with Hank! SJ

From a parent: HANK is an incredible program that truly makes a difference! Its mission of connecting teens with seniors is invaluable and just has so many benefits for both parties. 
In just a few months of participating, my sons have not only developed some practical skills by helping a local senior with gardening and outdoor tasks, but they’ve also improved conversation skills and continued to build empathy and a service-oriented mindset in care of others! More importantly, I believe they’ve had an impact on this senior’s quality of life. Their presence and conversations have given her a little weekly ‘lift’, and maybe even elevated her faith in community in seeing their commitment and willing support.    
As a parent, I’m grateful for the way HANK has broadened their horizons, while bringing joy and needed assistance to one of our elder community members. Every town should have a HANK program! We’re honored to be part of such a positive and impactful initiative! Dana H.

I’ve been a part of the HANK program for a few months. In that time, I’ve helped with gardening, cared for a neighbor’s dog, and done backyard cleanup and organization. It’s been good for me to be involved in my community, and so nice to meet some of my neighbors and develop good relationships with them. I’m happy to be able to help others, and I hope to continue to work with HANK.

HANKServices sent me R.K., a very mature young lady. She is willing to take on any project-planting, watering, sweeping the patio and filling the fishpond. The next project is my iPad! I’m so happy I found HANKServices!

Taking this job was the first assignment I was given at HANKServices. I was assigned to walk a dog for a week, and while it might not sound like much, it taught me the important skills of commitment, consistency, and responsibility.

I needed a dog walker and HANKServices came through. The teen who came to my house was polite, friendly and took great care with my dog. He even offered to help with snow removal and shoveling for the wintertime. I plan to contact HANK in the future as the need arises. Thanks HANK!
