Mark L. Lazarus Ph.D.Board of Advisors, received his doctorate in clinical psychology in 1992 and has worked in psychiatric hospitals since then, mostly with patients with severe mental health challenges, both as a clinician and as a manager of other psychologists. More recently, he has become a full-time, outpatient therapist focusing on: addictions, the elderly, and young adults “on the spectrum,” utilizing a warm, evidence-driven approach, for example, CBT. He also teaches part-time at both LIU-Post and QCC, and, over the years, has helped train 100 medical students and 300 doctoral candidates in psychology.
